Senior Legal Counsel – Projects Lawyer – 6+ pqe  London
\\nOur client is a leading global steel and mining company looking at future CO2 neutral steel production .

\\nThis is your chance to play a crucial role in the steel revolution and to join this Group's vital Legal and Compliance Mining team.
\\n
\\nBased in central London in stunning offices (3 days a week) and reporting to the Head of Legal and Compliance you will provide high-quality legal services in support of the mining segment.
\\n
\\nSupporting the business on a diverse range of legal topics, you will work with with experts in business and internal and external legal counsels. You will have experience in commercial contracts, infrastructure projects, construction contracts and the procurement function generally. Experience in railway contracts and port contracts would be an added value.
\\n
\\nYou will be a confident commercial contracts lawyer and experienced in the tender process documentation and the legal risks of the execution phase. This fast-paced business is looking for an autonomous top tier projects lawyer looking to make a difference within this sector. You will have at least 6 years experience in house or in private practice, preferably but not essentially in the mining sector and have the ability to work autonomously but have the skill set to build excellent internal relationships with stakeholders and clients alike.

\\nYou will be part of a dynamic forward thinking legal team and will be offered a competitive in house salary.
\\nYou may be asked to travel on an occasional basis to Liberia, Canada and other locations.
