Interim Head of Legal, Property – Remote working in the UK
Exciting opportunity to join a growing industry leader in the EV infrastructure sector as a Head of Legal, Property on an initial 6 month FTC basis with potential to go permanent.
This role is offered on a fully remote basis with some occasional travel to London.
Reporting to the General Counsel, you will have a lead role in managing a complex property portfolio including:
- Overseeing all legal aspects from initial agreements through to leases, disposals and related regulatory requirements.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for the business, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Working closely with the Development, Operational, and Commercial teams.
- Providing guidance across a range of property-related contracts including heads of terms, options and agreements for leases, reports, and certificates of title.
- Taking lead on all related transactions.
- Managing an outsourced external counsel model.
- Ensuring best practice compliance and governance processes are implemented and maintained.
You will be 5+ years PQE as a guide, preferably with experience gained in-house as a Real Estate Property lawyer, similarly having managed a large, complex property portfolio. You will be able to work effectively in managing your own workload with exceptional stakeholder management skills.
