Our client offers renewable energy solutions throughout Europe.

As their network is growing, they are excited to be looking for a full time Company Secretary and Compliance Officer.

This is a mid-level stand-alone role, ideal for you as a 3-5pqe qualified lawyer with a strong understanding of company secretarial processes, corporate governance, and statutory/regulatory obligations. Reporting to the GC directly, you will play a key role in ensuring legal compliance within a robust, corporate governance framework.

Ideally you will have some experience of compliance management tools and liaising with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders. You will thrive being a proactive, problem-solving, confident communicator with a strong sense of discretion and strong organisational skills. You will have Co Sec and Compliance experience preferably in the energy sector. German language skills would also be helpful although not essential.

As Compliance Officer, you will have confidence to monitor and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements across all compliance areas, including supply chain monitoring, prevention of financial crimes, data protection and fair market practices. As the Co Sec., you will maintain statutory registers, filings, corporate governance standards, and offer general legal support to shareholders working closely with the GC as required.
