Employment Lawyer - 2+ pqe - 6 month Contract - Leading London Law Firm .
We are currently partnering with a leading law firm that is seeking an Employment Lawyer to join its highly regarded team on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with 2+ years' PQE to work on a broad range of high-quality employment matters, supporting a diverse client base and collaborating with experienced employment specialists.
The role will involve:
- Advising employer clients on a wide range of day-to-day employment law matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, employment contracts, workplace policies, flexible working requests, discrimination issues and family leave rights.
- Supporting clients through restructures, redundancies and other workforce change projects.
- Assisting with Employment Tribunal claims and employment-related disputes.
- Advising on the employment aspects of corporate transactions, including TUPE transfers and due diligence exercises.
- Working closely with clients to provide practical, commercial and risk-focused legal advice; and
- Collaborating with colleagues across corporate, commercial and regulatory teams on multidisciplinary matters.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' PQE in employment law.
- Experience advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
- Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
- The ability to manage matters with an appropriate degree of autonomy.
- A commercial, pragmatic approach and strong client-facing skills.
- Experience gained at a recognised law firm or in-house legal team.
