We are looking to cover a maternity leave for one of our category manager roles to ensure that we continue to drive category understanding and insight and turn it into meaningful delivery for our Sales, Marketing and Activation teams to provide the right solutions for this important Grocery customer.

- Data savvy: able to analyse data, pull out key insights, create recommendations and drive these into actionable change

- Experience within UK FMCG/retail
What would be your key responsibilities?
External
- Be a thought leader for one of our key grocery customers, providing them with key objective insights, compelling recommendations on how to implement ‘Perfect Store’ (including Range, Layout, Space & theatre), and provide them with a vision for the future of the snacking category and the implementation for them.
- Provide clear commentary, insights, and recommendations for the general discount market that all discounters and account managers may benefit from.
- Establish Test & Learn programme with customers to optimise our current execution and learn for the future.
- Establish relationships across customer organisation to provide appropriate support into all key functions.
Internal
- Be the voice of the retailer into our business – providing clear guidance on what they need and why – and the implications for our portfolio, activation and contacts.
- Foster close links with the discount trading teams internally (including account managers, RTM, SRM and Customer Marketing) to ensure aligned approach to what the opportunities are, how we deliver them and tracking the execution of them in market.
- Use new technology as a platform to reach retailers in a new way, providing key insights and recommendations in a compelling and engaging way.
