The current application systems architecture supporting order to cash, produce to deliver and record to record business capabilities is not adapted to the business growth and evolution beyond 2026.
The EOS Digital Core program is a $400M USD program to design, build, deploy and service the reusable clean SAP S4Hana core and the edge systems specific to Royal Canin including Salesforce and OMP. The EOS DC program is an ERP transformation as well as a business process transformation across Finance, S2P, O2C, P2F, Q&FS and sustainability. The roadmap to transform the process and implement the new ERP and other tech stack is through 2030.
This role is responsible for the overall Data strategy in the program and reports directly to the SVP of the EOS Digital Core program.
What are we looking for?
- 10 years' experience leading data and data teams

- Experience with SAP, SalesForce, B2B, planning and pricing are preferred
- SAP S4Hana experience preferred
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Deliver the end-to-end EOS-Digital Core data strategy to enable the EOS transformation roadmap across Digital Core and Growth from process and data.
- Design the data strategy and methodology for migration, deployment and adoption and the transition into business as usual for Royal Canin and Mars Global Services.
- Lead and integrate the four EOS data pillars as one coherent delivery organization, with clear priorities, decision rights and performance expectations noting all dependencies.
- Act as the single data counterpart to the EOS Digital Core Global Leadership team ensuring an integrated view of progress, investment requirements, decisions and risks.
- Ensure data strategy is aligned with the Petcare Data strategy and ecosystem and generates value for the business.
- Partner closely with the Royal Canin MDM Director and Business Data Owners to ensure the EOS Digital Core program operates within the Royal Canin master data governance framework, standards, forums and decision rights without creating parallel program governance.
- Establish ways of working and governance for escalations across Global Process Owners and teams; Deployment teams and Royal Canin BAU, MDM, D&A, DT and Mars Global Services as well as external delivery partners.
- Develop the resource strategy according to the EOS-Digital Core program principles and drive to reduce duplication in resources across program Associates, 3rd party staff augmentation and IBM/SAP.
- Build and lead the required capability in the team with Mars Associates developing talent and ensuring succession.
- Manage the 3rd party staff augmentation according to the EOS-DC Principles ensuring roles requiring staff augmentation are not capabilities required long term in Mars and/or are required for capacity during a particular phase.
- Accountable for measuring data outcomes rather than coordination alone across Design, Adoption, Migration accuracy, Data Quality performance, market readiness and successful cutovers and sustainable BAU ownership.
- Manage complex stakeholder network across EOS-Digital Core program, Royal Canin, Global Petcare, Mars Global Services and Corporate.
