MARS, in partnership with a global consultancy, is recruiting a permanent Senior Cloud Engineer for a talented IT function. The role supports both private and public enterprises worldwide, delivering impactful change and transformation.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain Azure infrastructure using IaC with Bicep.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
- Provide technical escalation support for internal service desks and external client teams.
- Define technical requirements with clients and consultancy teams.
- Develop and secure SOAP/REST APIs, including Azure Integration Services such as Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid and API Management.
- Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
- Design virtualised infrastructure environments (compute, storage, networking, security).
- Perform vulnerability management and remediation.
Qualifications / Skills
- SME level experience in Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- Microsoft certifications (preferred): Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ‑305), Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ‑500) or equivalent security experience with plan to obtain.
- Hands‑on proficiency in Bicep for IaC.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
- Proficient scripting with PowerShell and Azure CLI.
- Experience with Azure Integration Services: Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management.
- Solid API development with SOAP & REST.
- GitHub version control, branching strategies and code‑review practices.
- Design experience for virtualised infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, security).
- Security vulnerability management.
