This role reports into the Internal Audit Director – Strategy & Professional Practices. The role is designed to support the Director by facilitating the roll out of strategic initiatives as well as supporting the development of Audit Committee reporting and global insights. It will also support the execution of the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program, department training, and process improvements. The role will work with the regional/functional internal audit teams and will support the Director in the planning and reporting-related activities of the Global Internal Audit plan and Risk Assessment process.

What are we looking for

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance. CPA or CIA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with 8+ years of audit/finance/consulting experience and a proven track record of accomplishments.
  • Build strong relationships with S&F associates through trust and credibility.
  • Strong skills in analyzing data and summarizing complex assessments into simple business terms.
  • Strong competence in Innovation and Dealing with Ambiguity, with potential to develop Strategic Agility.
  • Sharp consultative skills to influence and strong project management skills to meet rigorous deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive planning and organising skills and the ability to maintain composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Expertise in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI preferred.
  • High personal standards and professional ethics with a commitment to excellence.
  • Internal audit, public accounting or consulting experience.
  • Strong educational background with an undergraduate degree in Finance/Accounting. CPA, CIA, CISA or an equivalent certification preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Director – Strategy & Professional Practices in leading, coordinating and facilitating the implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate the IALT’s annual agenda and meetings.
  • Lead the overall Risk Assessment process.
  • Maintain a leadership role on the Operational Excellence team.
  • Coordinate the annual audit planning process and plan updates.
  • Drive the use of Internal Audit methodology in line with current IIA standards.
  • Assist the Director with reporting to management, the Audit Committee, and the Board.
  • Drive the implementation and administration of IA’s Quality Assurance and Improvement Program.
  • Support the audit team in developing and maintaining IA systems, including access and content.
  • Assist in managing the Theft and Fraud R25 process.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between USD 134,400.00 and USD 184,800.00. The total compensation package will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in a 401(k) plan, and paid time off benefits.
