The Global Omni Category Development Leader plays a key enabling role within the Global Category Leadership team, supporting the development and deployment of best‑in‑class range and assortment execution standards across markets. Reporting to the Category Leadership Director, this role focuses on building consistent capability and market delivery, helping Operating Entities to identify range and assortment opportunities through strong use of global tools.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Support the development and documentation of global range and assortment standards aligned to category strategy and portfolio priorities.
  • Embed clear principles for the role of range, segmentation and price pack architecture into global execution guidance - linking in with key capability pillars such as SRM.
  • Build strong understanding of global range and assortment tools, capabilities, and methodologies internally and externally.
  • Support markets in effectively applying tools to identify range gaps, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities.
  • Consolidate and codify best practices from markets into simple guidance, playbooks, and learning assets.
  • Identify best in class range and assortment principles linked to S&OP cycle and IVCP in markets related to range and assortment decision-making and highlight globally to drive adoption.
  • Support analysis of portfolio performance linked to flywheel strategy, shopper needs, and market dynamics.
  • Support capability-building initiatives across regions, including training content, workshops, and learning sessions.
  • Participate in global and regional category forums to support knowledge sharing and consistency.

What do we need from you?

  • Proven understanding of range assortment, and portfolio management principles.
  • Experience working with commercial or category tools and data.
  • Analytical capability with the ability to draw insights and frame opportunities.
  • Exposure to multi-market or regional ways of working preferred.
  • Strong learning agility with interest in building category leadership capability.
  • Comfortable supporting senior stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
