Job Details: Veterinary Business Manager in the Southwest of England. Territory covers Taunton, Yeovil, Bournemouth, Bath, Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, and North Somerset.

Base salary: £38,000 – £40,000

Bonus: £7,000 – £15,000

Working hours: Mon – Fri, 37.5 hrs per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive territory sales growth and secure clinical recommendations of Royal Canin products in line with the veterinary pillar strategy.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key clinic personnel and identify new opportunities for premium therapeutic diets.
  • Educate veterinary staff on nutrition; serve as product knowledge expert and provide training tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer insights that shape strategies for clinics and pet owners.
  • Engage and deliver training at 2–3 key industry events and trade shows per year, including weekend work.
  • Maintain weekly reporting, activity logs, and pre-call planning to achieve sales coverage objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Sales Enthusiasm: Proven sales experience or strong desire to learn and achieve.
  • Nutritional Savvy: Confidence in understanding and presenting nutritional information.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
  • Direct experience in related companies or within the veterinary industry preferred.
