Overview
This 4‑year Apprenticeship will take you towards the Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician qualification. You will gain professional training, participate in team building events, tackle real challenges, and take on real responsibility. Salary £20,000 rising on completion of each academic year, plus an annual bonus and benefits.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5 GCSEs: Grade B/5 or above in Maths, Grade C/4 or above in English, plus Science and any two other subjects
- Demonstrable interest in Engineering and Leadership
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Desire to learn
- Willing and able to travel to our Slough site and Uxbridge College
- Shift work may be required; must be 18+ by 7 September 2026
- Must not have more than 2 years of engineering experience, prior learning or qualifications higher than an NVQ Level 3 in engineering
Responsibilities
- Learn to maintain our plant machinery
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults
- Repair equipment
- Apply Mars quality and safety systems to ensure safety of people and products
- Work across Mechanical, Electrical and Utilities areas of the factory
