The primary responsibility of the role is to maintain plant equipment and fix mechanical/electrical issues sitewide. For this role a strong electrical bias with control/automation skill will be required, along with an intermediate level of mechanical expertise.

Engineering Foundation: Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Electrical, Automation, or Multi-Skilled Engineering, or equivalent qualification supported by relevant practical experience.
Automation & Electrical Problem-Solving: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical and automation issues within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
Maintenance & Reliability Expertise: Experience carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance activities, with a focus on maximising equipment performance and minimising downtime.
Automation & Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex automation and electrical faults in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Plant-Wide Technical Support: Provide on-shift support, including overtime cover where required, to troubleshoot and resolve PLC, servo, HMI, and related control system issues.
Preventative & Reactive Maintenance: Carry out planned preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, repairs, and breakdown response activities to maximise operational performance.
Identify and implement improvements to maintenance processes, reliability, and fault resolution activities.
Maintenance Documentation: Maintain accurate records and detailed reports of maintenance work, repairs, and system performance.
