The Digital Services Business Manager role covers a large and varied territory across Northern England and Scotland, including the Northeast, Yorkshire & the Humber, parts of the Northwest, and parts of Scotland such as the Central Belt, Borders, Highlands and Islands. Base salary is £39,000 - £40,000 with a bonus potential of £7,000-£15,000. Additional benefits include a company car, generous pension contribution up to 9%, life assurance four times the salary, gym membership and wellbeing support, and annual leave starting at 24 days rising to 32 with service. Working hours are Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities to expand the digital footprint.
  • Drive recruitment of veterinary clinics to the digital recommendation service and increase usage of digital platforms.
  • Educate and train veterinary staff on functionality and benefits of digital systems.
  • Effectively manage a territory of up to 750 accounts, including independent and corporate veterinary clinics, hospitals, and charities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Veterinary Business Managers, Marketing, and Key Accounts to deliver seamless customer experience and achieve business objectives.
  • Represent Royal Canin at trade shows, seminars, and conferences as a brand ambassador.
  • Gather and report on market intelligence, including competitor activity and customer feedback to shape strategy.

Qualifications

  • Proactive and results-driven with passion for digital technology and veterinary industry.
  • Professional qualification in IT, science, or related field.
  • Knowledge and experience working with digital systems.
  • Strong planning and problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and IT skills (proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Driver’s License with clean driving record.
