The Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Manager is a dedicated role within the operations team responsible for promoting and maintaining HSEQ culture and performance within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor HSEQ information and metrics.
- Assess risk, consult and advise on HSEQ issues drawing on best practice.
- Contribute to improvement projects.
- Raise HSEQ non-compliances.
- Lead and mentor a HSE Officer on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications:
- Previous significant experience working in an HSEQ environment, preferably in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
- Strong knowledge of HSE management systems.
- Strong knowledge of Quality management systems.
- NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Professionals or equivalent.
- NEBOSH Environmental Management Certification, equivalent or a desire to achieve.
- ISO 9001 Auditor training.
- Strong administrative skills and IT literacy.
- Approachable nature and ability to coach people around HSEQ matters.
Benefits:
- Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum.
- Company bonus scheme: 0.25% of company net profit after successful completion of probation.
