The Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Manager is a dedicated role within the operations team responsible for promoting and maintaining HSEQ culture and performance within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor HSEQ information and metrics.
  • Assess risk, consult and advise on HSEQ issues drawing on best practice.
  • Contribute to improvement projects.
  • Raise HSEQ non-compliances.
  • Lead and mentor a HSE Officer on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications:

  • Previous significant experience working in an HSEQ environment, preferably in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality management systems.
  • NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Professionals or equivalent.
  • NEBOSH Environmental Management Certification, equivalent or a desire to achieve.
  • ISO 9001 Auditor training.
  • Strong administrative skills and IT literacy.
  • Approachable nature and ability to coach people around HSEQ matters.

Benefits:

  • Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum.
  • Company bonus scheme: 0.25% of company net profit after successful completion of probation.
