Overview
We are hiring a Senior Account Director to lead and shape commerce marketing for a major FMCG client with a diverse portfolio of well‐known household brands. This is a high‐impact role at the heart of connected commerce—combining strategic thinking, creative craft and collaborative leadership. You'll guide integrated teams, influence senior client stakeholders and help evolve our offer from regional toolkits into meaningful UK market activation. Responsibilities
- Owning the day‐to‐day leadership of a large FMCG account, anticipating challenges and ensuring consistently high‐quality client service.
- Building strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and acting as a key partner to their business.
- Leading and developing a growing client‐servicing team, creating clarity, confidence and momentum.
- Collaborating closely with creative, planning, digital and delivery teams to produce connected commerce solutions.
- Shaping and presenting strategic and creative recommendations that influence client decision‐making.
- Overseeing financial management across projects, ensuring accurate estimating, invoicing and commercial stewardship.
- Identifying opportunities for growth—expanding scope, deepening partnerships and contributing to new business conversations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading shopper or commerce marketing accounts, ideally within FMCG environments.
- Confidence navigating complex, integrated agency teams and multi‐agency ecosystems.
- Strong strategic judgement, with the ability to connect shopper insight to creative and commercial outcomes.
- A collaborative leadership style that supports, develops and empowers others.
- Clear, persuasive communication skills—written, verbal and in presentations.
- Sound financial and operational acumen, with attention to detail and accountability.
- Curiosity, resilience and a genuine interest in how shoppers behave across physical and digital channels.
