Mars United Commerce is a global commerce marketing practice that aligns people, technology, and intelligence to make the business of our clients better today than it was yesterday. We are looking for a Freelance Commerce Account Director to join the Mars United Commerce team to work on a leading Alcohol beverage client.
This particular role covers two key areas of focus, namely eJBP and Event Transformation. On Events Transformation we are developing a robust strategy for markets to embrace and use to enhance their approach to winning during key event-based sales periods. On eJBP we are currently building a new AI‑enabled platform (in partnership with Sapient Humming Bird) which markets will use to enhance their eJBP planning.
Key Responsibilities- Help support the management and coordination of the global B2C community, providing local teams with up-to-date information on client initiatives, essential digital updates, and ongoing project performances.
- Support the acceleration and development of Event Transformation, a new pillar within the Client's B2C team. This includes delivering best practice guidelines, sharing learnings, offering data-driven insights, and organising interactive learning sessions for key events throughout the year.
- Create and deploy key community initiatives to enhance collaboration and performance across internal teams.
- Support in the development of comprehensive channel plans that align with global objectives and support local market needs.
- Lead and support transformation workshops that drive innovation and efficiency within local markets.
- Strong understanding of B2C sub-channels, including pure play, egrocery, qcomm marketplace, and TBA specialists.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective channel strategies both globally and within local markets.
- Experience in facilitating and supporting transformation workshops for local teams.
- Ability to create, execute, and manage key community initiatives for internal deployment.
