37.5 Hours per week - Rotating 12-hour shifts:
- Wk 1 Mon- Tue - 7am-7pm & Wed & Thu 7pm-7am – 5 days off
- Wk 2 Wed – Fri - 7am-7pm – Saturday off
- Wk 3 Sun-Tue 7pm-7am – 5 days off

The Role
As a Production Operator, you'll play a vital role in keeping our production lines running safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Working within a specified area, you'll operate manufacturing machinery, drive performance, maintain product quality, and help create a safe, professional and clean working environment.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of our operation. Without the dedication and expertise of our production teams, our iconic products would never make it from the factory floor to customers around the world. What We’re Looking For
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Competent in accurately recording and updating data using computerised systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Displays a positive, flexible, and can-do attitude towards work and challenges.
- Learning Agility – Displays a strong ability to quickly learn, adapt, and apply new skills or knowledge in changing environments.
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment, such as a machine operator, FLT driver, or similar role, is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively as part of a shift team to achieve production, quality, safety, and performance targets.
- Operate plant and machinery safely and efficiently in line with standard operating procedures and production schedules.
- Take ownership of assigned equipment and processes, monitoring performance and helping to drive continuous improvement.
- Carry out routine quality checks to ensure products consistently meet Mars' high standards.
- Identify and resolve basic equipment and process issues, escalating concerns promptly to minimise operational disruption.
- Use IT and automation systems to monitor performance, maintain accurate production records, and support effective shift handovers.
