Software Engineer | Automation | Robotics | Manufacturing | Witney | £55,000pa plus £10k bonus & benefits:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Software Engineer who enjoys working on manufacturing automation, robotics and reel time software to join a well-established specialist manufacturer in the Witney area. With growth plans to scale their £100m turnover business to over £200m over the next 5 years, this role is a key component to ensure that their targets are met by being responsible for all software and systems in their highly automated manufacturing site.
The Software Engineer will be responsible for the programming of the production systems including PC based interfaces and ERP links, PLC’s and Robotics integration systems. This is an incredibly varied role, working across a wide range of manufacturing technologies.
The successful Software Engineer will need the following experience and skills:
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Mathematics
- 5 years experience of working with C#
- Experience in PLC programming
- Experience using SQL Databases
- Computer system networks & server operation experience
- A genuine interest and passion for Automation & Robotics
