A leading high technology manufacturer is looking to urgently recruit a temporary contract Mechanical Design Engineer for a minimum of six months. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be reporting into and working for an NPI team who are responsible for highly complex customised scientific systems. You will require experience of working on similar scientific or complex mechanical instrumentation and systems.

The Mechanical Design Engineer will need the following skills / experience:

  • Degree educated in a Mechanical discipline
  • Experience in working within a mechanical design capacity on high tech mechanical products
  • Experience of using PTC Creo

Anyone applying to this role will need to be able to commute to Abingdon on a daily basis. There could be the option of hybrid working but the preference is for someone to be onsite.
