Manufacturing Engineer | Eynsham | 40,000pa – £45,000pa plus benefits: An industry leading scientific device manufacturer, who spun out of the university of Oxford is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing R&D and Manufacturing team. This role would be perfect for a graduate Manufacturing Engineer with 3 plus years’ experience who looking to progress their career into a lean focused continuous improvement role and to take ownership of an organisation’s continuous improvement operation. This is a greenfield opportunity which will give the successful Manufacturing Engineer the chance to really develop and build this function out within this business. This Manufacturing Engineer will be the first hire of such into this small, highly technical, specialist manufacturer. You will play a massively important role in helping shape, improve and develop the business approach to continuous and process improvement. Our client is looking for someone who is already a Manufacturing or Production Engineer but is looking for a role with more autonomy and one that offers a better level of projects to work on. Essential Experience & Skills: A background in an engineering, manufacturing or mechanical engineering discipline is required and the relevant practical experience within a manufacturing environment is essential Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-changing environment under pressure Skills, experience, and expertise in supporting new and existing production lines Experience of writing of production processes and workbooks Ability to use CAD would be beneficial to complete ECN’s Experience of an ERP system Experience and knowledge of Lean principles, ideally 6-Sigma trained. Our client offers a competitive salary, £40,000pa to £45,000pa plus benefits, which includes a bonus, company contributory pension, death in service insurance, 25 days annual holiday plus public holidays.
