A really good opportunity has arisen for a Production Cell Leader to join a global high-tech manufacturer on a temp to perm basis. This is a fast turnaround hire, with my client looking to interview and start a Production Cell Leader as quickly as possible. You will lead a small team of electro-mechanical technicians who build and repair complex instrumentation.
On a day-to-day basis the Production Cell Leader’s responsibilities will be:
- To help coordinate routine operations within the cell to meet agreed safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people skills objectives (SQCDP).
- Ensure weekly production schedules are met and achieve ‘On Time/Right First Time’ targets.
- Seek to improve and innovate in line with production processes and techniques.
- Support Inventory Control practices.
Production Cell Leader required Skills & Experience:
- Experience within an electro-mechanical build and test manufacturing environment.
- And/or will have relevant experience/have held a similar role in a similar environment.
- Yellow belt practitioner – 5S methodology, 8 wastes, Kaizen, process mapping, practical problem solving (PDCA).
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook).
