A great opportunity has arisen for a mid-level Data Analyst to join a world-renowned specialist manufacturer on an 8-month inside of IR35 temporary contract. Due to a sustained period of growth, my client needs immediate support with data collection, analysis, reporting, and revenue-generation activities. The successful Data Analyst will be comfortable working with large volumes of financial data, extracting information from multiple systems, and producing accurate reports to support key critical business decision-making.

This is a hands-on Data Analyst role requiring someone who can quickly understand existing processes, work to tight deadlines, and proactively engage with stakeholders across global teams to obtain required information. It will suit a Data Analyst who has either come from or worked within Accounting, Finance, Forecasting, or Budgeting.

Data Analyst Key Responsibilities:
  • Manually generate, collate, and refresh datasets used for revenue reporting and forecasting.
  • Extract and consolidate data from various sources, including ERP systems and ClickView, into Excel-based reports.
  • Interrogate and analyse large datasets to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
  • Produce regular reporting and insights for senior management.
  • Support forecasting and budgeting activities.
  • Manage global stakeholder engagement, proactively chasing data and information from colleagues across multiple regions (e.g., Europe and wider international teams).
  • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Ensure reporting deadlines and business priorities are met.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience collecting, managing, and analysing large volumes of data.
  • Strong Excel skills, including data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience working with databases and ERP systems.
  • Ability to extract, cleanse, and combine data from multiple sources.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders globally.
  • Experience producing management reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Background in Accounting, Finance, Forecasting, or Budgeting preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
