A specialist high-tech manufacturer based in the Abingdon area is looking to recruit a temporary Senior Indirect Buyer on a 3-month contract which could go “temp to perm”. Our client is a global manufacturer and as they go through an exciting period of change, they are looking for an Indirect Buyer with Services and Utilities experience, to help them review, collate and document all of their current spends and help implement a way of tracking the spend and renewal dates for contracts.
The successful Senior Buyer should have:
- Educated to or performing at graduate calibre, or demonstrable track record of success in a purchasing environment (3+ years’ experience)
- Experience working in a similar Indirect Buying role
- A team player with creative problem-solving skills
- Drive to continually improve the supply chain
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
