The predicted salary is between 40000 - 45000 £ per year.

A 3-month temp contract for an IT Support Engineer – 1st & 2nd Line (Abingdon – Onsite with 1 day remote). Rate: £175‑£200 per day.

This role is often the first point of contact for IT across the business. Customer service is key, and the analyst will fully understand the needs of the customer and help them reach a successful conclusion.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line support for all IT services.
  • Serve as the first point of contact, assess incidents, log tickets, resolve issues, or appropriately escalate.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and contribute to the team culture.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar IT Service Desk or 1st line IT Support role, or strong passion for supporting customers via technology.
  • Strong communication skills, analytical mind, positive attitude, and personal drive.
  • Understanding of user account management within a Microsoft environment.
  • Experience with Office 365 administration.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices.
  • Experience with or awareness of supporting the employee lifecycle (Starters, Movers, Leavers) in an IT environment.
  • Experience with or awareness of Incident/Ticket Logging Systems such as FreshService, ServiceNow, etc.
  • Experience with or awareness of supporting cloud technologies.
  • Experience with or awareness of mobile device technologies.
  • Microsoft Certifications such as MS-900, AZ-900, AI-900, SC-900.
Working Hours & Location:

Onsite with potential 1 day per week remote. Working hours: 8am‑4:30pm, 8:30am‑5pm, or 9am‑5:30pm.
