At Melton, we're at the forefront of innovation in high-speed food processing, and we're searching for a talented Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team.
- Cutting-Edge Tech: Work with advanced systems like ABB/Kuka robotics, Allen Bradley PLCs, and predictive maintenance tools.
- Provide technical facilitation, training, and leadership to deliver solutions that reduce downtime, waste, quality issues, and safety risks.
- Minimum HNC/HND in mechanical engineering or a related field, backed by practical experience.
- Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments: You know how to troubleshoot and maintain complex mechanical systems.
- You excel at Root Cause Analysis and fault finding.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Excel, PI Process Book, and SAP Planned Maintenance.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance automated, electromechanical systems - from refrigeration systems to meat processing equipment, conveyors, and fluid systems.
- Participate in risk assessments and ensure all activities adhere to safety standards (ISO 14000, PTW, Hot Work, etc.).
- Develop talent: Help build the next generation of engineers through technical training and coaching.
