Protecting Operational Imperatives (POI) is a key enabler and strategic priority for delivering our Digitization at Scale ambition and Petcare 2030 OGSM. POI ensures that our business is secure, compliant, resilient and efficient through 4 distinct programs including BCM & Resiliency, Information Security and Data Privacy (managed by GDO), Digital Operations through GDO and Mergers & Acquisitions Digital Integration and Digital Collaboration.

The role of the Enterprise Risk Analyst will be to identify, analyse, assess and provide risk insights and emerging trends across the Petcare Ecosystem, delivering actionable insights for various audiences, including Division and Petcare Leadership teams through the POI organisation. The Enterprise Risk Analyst will collaborate closely with the Petcare Enterprise Risk Senior Manager, as well as Division and Unit BCM & Resiliency teams, to identify, analyse and assess risks to normal business operations. This role will provide risk insights and identify emerging risk trends across the Petcare Ecosystem, delivering actionable insights for various audiences, including Division and Petcare Leadership teams through the Protecting Operational Imperatives Organisation. The role will build risk reports, support the development of risk management toolkits used within the BCM & Resiliency and POI teams and create clear communications and visualisation reports.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business, Risk Management or a similar technical field.
  • Strong capability in data analytics and managing complex data sets.
  • Experience with data analytics tools and techniques.
  • Some experience in risk management preferred.

  • Ability to build and manage relationships, including with senior level stakeholders.

The position will be part of a global team, necessitating remote collaboration and fostering pluralistic cultural relationships. The position will operate with full autonomy and be responsible for self-managing time and workload to ensure quality work is delivered within expected deadlines. Occasional travel may be required.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Review and upload BCM & Resiliency risk assessments, collaborating with Division teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency across units.
  • Design and prepare risk reports using data from multiple sources, creating actionable risk insights and visualisation for Divisional and Petcare Leadership teams.
  • Analyse risk data to identify trends, potential risks and assess their impact to Petcare, Division and Banners.
  • Assist in developing and testing risk management digital tools to enhance BCM & Resiliency Risk Assessment processes.
  • Review the effectiveness of risk controls, facilitate the sharing of best practices, and support the development of mitigation plans for key risks across Divisions.
  • Use data to identify critical focus areas for future risk assessments.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and other metrics to track operational risks.
  • Identify opportunities for process and procedure improvements.
  • Collaborate across the BCM & Resiliency team to identify emerging risks and incorporate these insights into data and reports.
  • Identify opportunity to marry the grass roots data from the risk pillar in BCM & Resiliency Program with the ERM Petcare level data to find relationships, insights and synergies between the two and other potential risk registers relevant to Petcare.
