Job Description:
The Platform Engineering Lead role will be responsible for leading a development team in the conception, implementation, and roll out of new solutions to meet the multi-dimensional needs of our customers, enabling our businesses to pursue aggressive digital strategies.
What are we looking for?
- University degree in the field of Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Strong experience with cloud engineering and/or software development
- Experience building and deploying services in the cloud
- Proficiency in multiple coding languages, with a strong preference for hands-on technical experience
- Comfortable implementing both open-source frameworks and enterprise applications
- Strong leadership capabilities, with a collaborative approach to building and maintaining high-performing teams
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership

Lead a team of platform engineers in the delivery of everything from microservices architectures to global platform deployments

Be accountable for team deliveries across a diverse portfolio of projects and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards
- Oversee the technical direction of projects, from microservices architectures to global platform deployments
- Design and develop tools that enable our customers to build out more efficient, scalable, and advanced data and analytics solutions
- Interface with senior leadership and cross functional teams to articulate technical strategies
- Become a subject matter expert in new technologies introduced to the platform

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position mayalso include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate).
