We are looking for a Global Petcare Reporting & Governance Manager to shape accounting decisions across Petcare, with a focus on digital. This role sits at the centre of complex judgment calls, senior stakeholder engagement, and governance—ideal for someone who thrives on influence, problem solving and impact.
You will be a trusted US GAAP expert, partnering with Corporate, Segment, Divisional, and Digital leaders to ensure strong controls, high-quality accounting, and confident decision-making.
Responsibilities- Lead technical accounting and translate topic into clear, compelling messages for senior finance leadership.
- Own the Segment Accounting Review Process, ensuring all consults are clear, complete, and US GAAP-compliant.
- Lead Corporate, Segment, and Divisional reviews and guide escalation to Corporate Technical Accounting.
- Own the Goodwill and Long-Lived Asset Impairment Review Processes, including quarterly and annual reviews.
- Represent Petcare in accounting policy and Finance Manual updates.
- Deliver practical solutions, strong follow-through, and clear recommendations.
- Act as Controller for the Digital organisation, partnering closely with the Chief Digital Officer.
- US Gov–certified accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
- Deep US GAAP technical accounting expertise.
- Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments.
- Collaborative, confident communicator with excellent organisation and follow-through.
