We are looking for a Global Petcare Reporting & Governance Manager to shape accounting decisions across Petcare, with a focus on digital. This role sits at the centre of complex judgment calls, senior stakeholder engagement, and governance - ideal for someone who thrives on influence, problem solving and impact. You will be a trusted US GAAP expert, partnering with Corporate, Segment, Divisional, and Digital leaders to ensure strong controls, high-quality accounting, and confident decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical accounting and translate topic into clear, compelling messages for senior finance leadership.
- Own the Segment Accounting Review Process, ensuring all consults are clear, complete, and US GAAP-compliant.
- Lead Corporate, Segment, and Divisional reviews and guide escalation to Corporate Technical Accounting.
- Own the Goodwill and Long-Lived Asset Impairment Review Processes, including quarterly and annual reviews.
- Represent Petcare in accounting policy and Finance Manual updates.
- Deliver practical solutions, strong follow-through, and clear recommendations.
- Act as Controller for the Digital organisation, partnering closely with the Chief Digital Officer.
Qualifications
- US Gov-certified accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
- Deep US GAAP technical accounting expertise.
- Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments.
- Collaborative, confident communicator with excellent organisation and follow-through.
