Facilities Engineer (Weekends) – Mars Wrigley
Plymouth
Shifts: Sat & Sun rotating days and nights 6am – 6pm or 6pm – 6am + additional hours (32/40 hours per week)
Salary: £37,000 – £46,000 + 6% company bonus
Welcome Bonus: £2,500

What are we looking for?

Proven experience in diagnosing and fixing industrial boilers, steam pipework, and water systems within an FMCG environment.

Ability to troubleshoot various competencies: Pneumatic, compressors, chillers, boilers, and dehumidifiers with minimal guidance.

You’ll be very hands-on with a self-driven attitude that works well with people and can prioritize workloads with ease.

Suitably qualified in an engineering discipline supported by relevant experience.
What would be your key responsibilities?
-
Monitor and operate all critical facility assets to optimize plant efficiency and performance for factory operations.

Capable of troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling equipment within close site tolerances.

As a team, properly maintain and ensure efficient and effective repairs of facilities equipment in a fast-paced, high-production work environment, while prioritizing multiple mechanical/electrical and administrative tasks.

Perform maintenance on Pneumatic, compressors, chillers, boilers, and dehumidifiers with minimal guidance.

Document Work Orders (WO) using SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance logging and complete maintenance activities on a daily basis.

Understand and adhere to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) Procedures, Confined Space Procedures, and all other Plant Safety/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements related to supporting machinery uptime.
