Job Description
The role defines the activation strategy in conjunction with the LM and executes our activity plan within our customers to bring our brands and events to life for shoppers, in a way which contributes towards delivery of the retailer’s own strategies.
The role will have dedicated customers/channels allocated and be accountable for the partner accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the customer’s needs internally and build them into our activation proposals
- Ownership for UK& IRL activation plan – alignment, delivery & execution of the plan – including priority choices.
- Ownership for the UK TRC budget for the accounts responsible for – from agreeing allocation, to management/stewardship of the budget.
- Ownership to define/design/deliver the content required for internal deployment meetings, and own the design & delivery of all external tool kits and selling materials.
- Ownership to 3rd party agency relationships.
- Work with our agencies to develop and execute bespoke customer solutions which contribute to the retailer’s own strategies.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Activity Management, Finance, Corporate Affairs and Supply to create and execute initiatives.
- Execute the Activity Plan with our customers, landing points of interruptions across the shopper journey to engage shoppers, instore and online.
- Evaluate executions with clear learnings and recommendations for future applications.
- Champion value creation within customer marketing.
What do we need from you?
- Commercial (sales, marketing, category, customer marketing) experience, and demonstrated ability to develop strong and impactful internal and external relationships and influence customers of all sizes.
- Strong track record of developing and executing visions and strategies with the ability to inspire and lead a complex, cross country team/structure to consistently deliver business results.
- Ability to navigate complex situations and challenge the status quo with a can-do attitude.
- Self-reliant, decisive, and resilient and able to respond and adapt to a fast moving, swiftly changing environment, which will also itself be new in the initial period.
