The Role

At Royal Canin we have an opportunity to support key accounts across the retail, veterinary, and PRO pillars through transforming account capabilities and ways of working. The sales support role ensures that insightful data is tracked and deployed impactfully, and the processes underpinning account management are completed to a high quality, including the processing of promotional rebates, invoices, new product management, and loyalty scheme. This role involves the evolution of our ways of working with a focus on AI capability and automation so that we can more strategically partner with accounts to develop key customers through the deployment of transformational tools, enhanced sales decks and insights, and the ownership of sales improvement projects that enable the smooth running of the business and maintain a strong relationship with the customer.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong analytical skills with a strong working knowledge of Excel, and experience in driving system automation.
  • Project management capability with the ability to lead a variety of stakeholders across the business to drive operational excellence.
  • Experience optimising work processes with the ability to standardise across diverse and extensive systems, and cross-market ways of working.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
  • Aptitude and enjoyment of administrative tasks, and appetite to transform and evolve administrative efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance regular reporting by extracting data from customer systems, creating and updating sales trackers and EPOS reports.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency, including automation and the development of self-service solutions.
  • Manage project teams to evolve ways of working, and the tools available to sales managers.
  • Strategically Partner with Key Account Managers (KAMs) with timely data and recommendations through Power BI builds and maintenance.
  • Utilising AI and power automate to drive system and process automation.
  • Manage customer invoices and/or promotional rebates, including approval, liaising with KAMs, maintaining full audit trails, and chasing missing or late invoices.
  • Accurately complete customer promotional nomination forms in line with deadlines, ensuring KAM sign-off, and product update forms.
