The role involves joining a small team as an Associate or Associate Director due to our rapidly expanding workload. You will play an integral part in continuing to grow the team and act as lead on future projects.

The key duties will be:

  • Project lead from a transport planning perspective whether this be working alongside Marrons planning colleagues or external clients
  • Reviewing Transport Assessments / Travel Plans / Feasibility Studies
  • Providing high level advice to clients at project inception stage and through the duration of a scheme
  • Attending client meetings and public consultations
  • Contributing towards winning work
  • Working collaboratively with in-house Marrons specialist teams

You will need:

  • Significant experience in the transport planning industry
  • Excellent technical and design skills as well as report writing skills
  • Relevant degree qualification in Transport Planning, Geography or Civil Engineering
  • Use of AutoCAD, TRICS, JUNCTIONS and LINSIG modelling software is desirable
  • Experience of planning appeals is desirable
