The role We’re growing and looking for people who want to grow with us. If you enjoy building relationships, turning ideas into action, and helping shape how a business develops, we would love to hear from you. You’ll join our Business Development & Marketing team, working closely with the Marrons brand (Top UK Planning Consultancy). You’ll partner with senior leaders to shape and deliver growth plans, connect teams, and spot new opportunities. This is a role with flexibility and scope to make it your own. We welcome different perspectives, working styles, and ways of thinking.
Key Responsibilities- Co‑create and deliver marketing and BD plans, driving initiatives forward and supporting key client relationships
- Build strong relationships across teams and senior stakeholders, connecting fee earners with marketing specialists to unlock opportunities
- Plan and deliver events, partnerships and campaigns that support growth
- Use insights, CRM data and market intelligence to identify new opportunities and track impact
- Lead BD meetings, follow up on opportunities, and support effective pipeline management
- Coach and support colleagues to build confidence and capability in business development
- Experience of working, client‑side or agency/consultancy, in marketing or business development – planning, surveying or architecture is preferred
- Confidence in building relationships and influencing others
- Ability to turn ideas into action and manage priorities
- A curious, collaborative, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
