The role
We have big growth plans and are looking for people with the enthusiasm to be part of this journey. We are looking to appoint an Associate Planning Director / Planning Director to play a key part in the growth strategy of our Birmingham office, developing and delivering opportunities and further building on our success to date. As a Planning Director in Marrons, you will work on a wide variety of projects, including identifying new development opportunities and delivering major mixed-use urban extensions across the UK. You will be working with national house builders, land promoters, and landowners and become a key part of the Marrons leadership team.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include developing and delivering opportunities for growth, identifying new development opportunities, and contributing to Marronsβ leadership in the Birmingham office. You will work with national house builders, land promoters, and landowners to advance projects.
Requirements
- A degree in town planning or a related field, and significant relevant experience in a planning consultancy
- A strong understanding of UK planning policies and regulations, and experience in preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively
- A track record of delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction
- RTPI membership
