**Key Responsibilities:**
We are looking for an experienced and motivated **Senior Operations Supervisor** to support the daily management of our well-established **Leisure & Fitness Club** , which proudly serves over **1,500 members** and hotel guests. The club is a key feature of our hotel and a valued part of the local community.
In this hands-on leadership role, you will be responsible for delivering high operational standards across the club, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all users. You will play a key role in **member retention** , **guest satisfaction** , and the **performance of the leisure team** .
Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the club, ensuring smooth delivery of all services and facilities.
Lead by example in upholding exceptional **cleanliness** , **health & safety** , and **customer service** standards.
Supervise and support staff across reception, pool, and gym areas u2014 ensuring all team members are performing to expectations.
Conduct regular safety and compliance checks, including **pool plant operations** , water testing, and equipment maintenance.
Contribute to the recruitment, induction, and ongoing training of leisure staff.
Monitor member engagement and support strategies to **retain members** and improve the overall **member experience** .
Act as a key point of contact for hotel guests using the leisure facilities, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
Handle customer feedback and complaints in a timely, courteous, and solution-focused manner.
Ensure staffing levels meet operational needs and assist with creating rotas.
Support the Leisure Club Manager with reporting, audits, and improvement initiatives.
**What weu2019re looking for**
Previous experience in managing a team Previous experience in a **supervisory or senior team member role** within a leisure or fitness environment is essential.
**Pool Plant Operator experience/certification** is essential.
Strong understanding of **health & safety** protocols in a leisure setting.
A proactive and customer-focused approach to leadership.
Experience handling member or guest queries and resolving service issues effectively.
Ability to coach and motivate team members to deliver a high-quality experience.
Good administrative and organisational skills.
First Aid at Work qualification (desirable).
