As the Sales & Events Coordinator for the EMEA region, you will play a key supporting role within the Regional Global Sales Team based in Berlin and London. With involvement in the execution of over 25 sales events annually, you’ll collaborate closely with the Events Manager and the wider sales team in the planning, contracting, and successful delivery of these events. Beyond events, you’ll actively contribute to achieving regional sales goals and strengthening the presence of Design Hotels™ as a leading partner in the travel trade industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of Design Hotelsâ„¢ sales services and events for member hotels, clients, and partners.
  • Assist the Events Manager in sourcing external venues, managing supplier contracts, and coordinating communication across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the execution of key sales initiatives, including sales calls, trade and supplier events, digital communications, and promotional campaigns.
  • Help foster strong, personalized relationships with key clients, partners, and member hotels.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the EMEA Sales team, including preparing reports, presentations, event documentation and updating Salesforce CRM.
  • Handle correspondence and communication with member hotels, clients, and business partners in a timely and professional manner.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Global Sales team and other internal departments to ensure smooth collaboration and project alignment.
  • Support the team in tracking performance metrics and achieving sales targets across the EMEA region.
  • Represent and advocate for the Design Hotelsâ„¢ brand in all client and partner interactions, upholding its values and positioning in the market.

Experience & Mindset

  • 1-2 years of experience in event coordination, sales support, hospitality, or a comparable international business environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.
  • A clear interest in high-end hospitality and luxury brands, paired with commercial curiosity.
  • Exceptional organizational discipline and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams under pressure while maintaining quality and professionalism.
  • Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders, external partners, and international teams.
  • A strong sense of project ownership and accountability.
  • Fluent English required; German is a strong advantage.
