W Edinburgh is hiring a Head Sushi Chef for SUSHISAMBA restaurant! In this specialized role, we invite you to play an integral part in bringing to life this unique brand in Edinburgh.
ABOUT SUSHISAMBA: SUSHISAMBA celebrates the culture and cuisine of Japan, Brazil and Peru. The menus are a mix of new and signature dishes with an emphasis on bold flavours, the finest ingredients and artful presentations. As part of the new W Hotel in the vibrant St James Quarter and with stunning views over the Scottish capital, our Edinburgh restaurant is a welcome addition to the SUSHISAMBA portfolio which includes locations such as Las Vegas, London, Dubai, Doha and Singapore.
ABOUT THE ROLE: Reporting to the Executive Chef of W Edinburgh, the Head Sushi Chef of SUSHISAMBA at W Edinburgh will have overall responsibility for directing the daily operation of the sushi production within SUSHISAMBA restaurant kitchen. This highly specialized role requires several years of previous experience working with a similar cuisine in a high-end, high-volume restaurant. Joining the team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel and the restaurant’s operations and beyond. We are looking for someone who is organised, creative and passionate!

Our ideal Head Sushi Chef of SUSHISAMBA is someone who has:

- Previous experience working in sushi production or similar cuisine in high-end, high-volume restaurants.
- A good level of spoken and written English.
- At least three years of previous management experience.
