Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Used vehicle inspections (MPC’s) on used vehicles, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
  • Fit accessories such as tow bar electrics and reversing sensors.
  • Perform servicing and repair work according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain high productivity and exceptional customer service.

Main Duties

  • Vehicle inspection, assessment, maintenance and repair.
  • Identify vehicle areas which require refurbishment.
  • Identify parts required for refurbishment.
  • Utilise technical knowledge on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Inspect components for wear and tear, repair and replace parts.
  • Liaise with colleagues as needed.
  • Support other Technicians in the Workshop.
  • Follow checklists to ensure all procedures are completed.
  • Complete all required documentation to the standard.

Requirements

  • NVQ level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent, or relevant experience.
  • Own set of tools.
  • UK Driving Licence.
  • Ideally, a qualified MOT Tester.
