Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Used vehicle inspections (MPC’s) on used vehicles, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
- Fit accessories such as tow bar electrics and reversing sensors.
- Perform servicing and repair work according to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain high productivity and exceptional customer service.
Main Duties
- Vehicle inspection, assessment, maintenance and repair.
- Identify vehicle areas which require refurbishment.
- Identify parts required for refurbishment.
- Utilise technical knowledge on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Inspect components for wear and tear, repair and replace parts.
- Liaise with colleagues as needed.
- Support other Technicians in the Workshop.
- Follow checklists to ensure all procedures are completed.
- Complete all required documentation to the standard.
Requirements
- NVQ level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent, or relevant experience.
- Own set of tools.
- UK Driving Licence.
- Ideally, a qualified MOT Tester.
