As Marqeta's Key Account Manager, you will partner with a cross-functional team and manage one of our global strategic accounts. You will bring a strong track record of growth and deep relationship-building experience to provide exceptional client service, uncover revenue-generating opportunities and workable solutions to your customers. You persistently explore and uncover the business needs of your customer to understand how our product offerings can grow their business.
We encourage a flexible working style, and the team is typically in the office a few days each week in our London office. We would love for you to join us!

Who You Are
- 8+ years of commercial account management experience
- Strong communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, presentation, written, email) and track record of creating and executing strategic account plans
- Strong grasp of industry trends and competitive landscape
- Hands-on experience in negotiating contracts, pricing models and renewals
- Familiarity and first-hand knowledge in fintech, banking or payments
Key Skills And Competencies
- Proven experience growing and scaling strategic or enterprise accounts
- Proven track record of managing global customers with multi-region stakeholders
- Proven track record of cross-selling and upselling, and ability to identify new revenue streams based on customer needs
- Demonstrated ability to influence others in a matrix environment, gaining buy-in at multiple levels across the organisation
- Experience leading business reviews and using data-driven strategies to make informed decisions
