We're looking for an experienced Technical Trainer – Electronics / IPC who can:

  • Deliver engaging technical training
  • Coach and mentor engineers and operators
  • Share best practices with customers
  • Help shape and improve our training programmes

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has already stepped into leadership or mentoring responsibilities and is looking for a role with genuine progression towards Master Trainer status.

This is a full-time remote role for an IPC Trainer at MARQ-ONE. The IPC Trainer will deliver IPC training programs focused on electronics and wiring assembly and inspection standards (such as IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and related standards). While remote based, the role does require travel around the UK to our customer sites.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620 etc.) and hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing, inspection, or quality assurance.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering technical training, workshops, or coaching sessions to diverse groups in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Ability to assess skills gaps, design structured training plans, and evaluate learner competency through testing, observation, and feedback.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, accessible language.
  • Relevant certification as an IPC Master Trainer (MIT), IPC Certified Trainer (CIT). Experienced Certified IPC Specialists (CIS) will be considered providing there is a drive to gain the Certified IPC Trainer (CIT) qualification as soon as possible.
