Helix Academies Trust is a new and growing Trust, currently comprising one secondary school and one primary school, with plans to expand in the upcoming years.
We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer who can also work as the School Business Manager at our secondary school in the short term. These roles will become separate as the Trust expands.
Responsibilities:- Manage the financial affairs of the trust, ensuring effective and efficient use of resources to support schools and promote pupil success.
- Work closely with the Chief Executive to contribute to the shared vision and values of the trust.
- Identify and mitigate risks while developing robust financial plans.
- Lead, develop, and maintain sound operations of financial and business practices across the Trust, fulfilling all requirements of the Academies Handbook.
- Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both within and outside the trust.
- Proven track record of financial management in the education sector.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional organisational, communication, and IT skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and be self-reliant and self-motivated.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
