Governors are seeking an ambitious, inspirational and energetic teacher of Technology. The successful candidate will be able to teach Technology at KS3 and Design Technology (Product Design) at KS4. Experience or capability to teach another specialism at KS4 and/or experience of teaching KS3 Art & Design is desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging Technology lessons to KS3 students.
  • Plan, assess and evaluate student progress in Design Technology (Product Design) for KS4.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the department to raise teaching and learning standards.
  • Actively contribute to the development of the department’s curriculum and learning resources.
  • Participate in staff professional development and share best practice.
  • Support school initiatives aimed at improving student outcomes and culture.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Taught Technology at KS3 and Design Technology at KS4.
  • Optional: Ability to teach another KS4 specialism and/or KS3 Art & Design.
  • Passion for learning and teaching, with a vision to continue raising standards across all levels and abilities.
  • Evidence of commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding.
