Marmon Lift Recruitment is now recruiting for a Junior Lift Technician to cover a route across London. The portfolio includes a mix of passenger lifts and goods lifts. This is an excellent opportunity to begin training to become an NVQ 4-qualified lift engineer. Commutable from: Richmond, Wimbledon, Ealing, Uxbridge, Streatham, Hammersmith, Harrow, Mitcham, Twickenham, Hayes, Slough, Staines-upon-Thames, and London areas.

Ideal Junior Lift Technician:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering - Essential
  • Full, clean driving licence - Essential
  • At least 5 years of proven experience within lift engineering, ideally in a technical or senior field-based role
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Confident in supervising and supporting other engineers

Responsibilities of a Junior Lift Technician:

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and test reports
  • Attend to and resolve breakdowns and faults across passenger and goods lifts
  • Provide technical support with fault-finding and complex issues
  • Recommend and implement improvements to lifting operational procedures
  • Supervise lift engineering and technical staff, ensuring adherence to health & safety standards
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service and promote operational excellence
