Due to increasing demand and growing candidate volumes, we are now hiring our first Trainee Recruitment Consultant. This is a key hire designed to support business growth, improve candidate flow, and create consistency across candidate delivery.

Responsibilities of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant:
- Make outbound calls to an established database of lift engineers and all supporting roles.
- Re-engage dormant candidates and update availability and work preferences.
- Handle inbound candidate enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Conduct first-stage candidate qualification (skills, experience, location, motivation).
- Book qualified candidates for interviews with the Recruitment Consultant.
- Accurately update and maintain CRM records.
- Support CV formatting and candidate documentation.
- Work closely with the Director and Marketing/Admin apprentice to support live vacancies.
The Ideal Trainee Recruitment Consultant:
Essential:
- Confident, professional phone manner.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
- Highly organised and process-driven.
- Resilient, consistent, and reliable.
- Coachable and open to feedback.
- Valid UK driving licence.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Call centre, telesales, or recruitment resourcing experience.
- Experience speaking with technical, engineering, or trade-based professionals.
- Recruitment experience in any sector.
