Marmon Lift Recruitment is working with one of the UK's fastest-growing independent stairlift companies. Due to continued growth and increasing demand, they are looking for experienced Stairlift Engineers who want to maximise their earnings in a business with a constant flow of work. This is an opportunity for engineers who are motivated, reliable, and prepared to put in the hours to significantly increase their income.
This role is based in Sunderland and will involve regular travel across Scotland for installations, servicing, and repairs. All travel and accommodation costs are fully covered by the company. The majority of the role involves driving and attending customer sites throughout the North East and Scotland, with no requirement to travel further south.
Commutable from: Sunderland, Newcastle upon Tyne, Durham, Washington, Gateshead, South Shields, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Bishop Auckland, Chester-le-Street.
Responsibilities of a Stairlift Engineer:- Install, service and repair straight and curved stairlifts in customer homes
- Service and maintain stairlifts to manufacturer standards
- Travel regularly across Scotland to attend customer appointments
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Complete paperwork and maintain safety compliance
- Minimum 2 years' stairlift engineering experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of major stairlift manufacturers
- UK Driving Licence - comfortable with regular travel and driving
- CSCS / SSSTS is advantageous
- Serious earning potential for hard-working engineers
- Consistent overtime and additional earning opportunities
