Key Responsibilities of a Lift Technician: Carry out lift testing, commissioning support, and advanced fault-finding across a varied portfolio of passenger and goods lifts. Diagnose complex electrical and mechanical faults, providing technical solutions to engineers and customers. Complete final testing on new installations, modernisations, and major repairs to ensure compliance with current standards. Support service and repair engineers with technical guidance on challenging faults where required. Accurately complete all testing documentation, reports, and certification. Work safely at all times, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, company procedures, and health & safety legislation. Requirements of a Lift Technician: NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) - Essential. Full UK driving licence - Essential. Previous experience working as a Lift Technician / Lift Tester. Strong knowledge of lift testing, fault diagnosis, commissioning, and industry standards. Experience working across a range of lift manufacturers and control systems. Excellent technical problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. Live within a commutable distance of East London.
