Marmon Lift Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified Lift Engineer to take ownership of a dedicated service route, ensuring lifts are maintained to the highest standards. This is a service-and-repair, call-out-based role in Southampton, offering excellent earning potential and long-term progression.

The Lift Engineer Role:

  • Efficiently manage your own service route.
  • Carry out service and repair works on both passenger and goods lifts.
  • Undertake electrical and mechanical maintenance across passenger, goods, and service lifts, as well as associated lifting equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Accurately report services, repairs, and defects to support continuous improvement and safety standards.
  • Complete planned maintenance schedules in line with agreed Service Contracts.

Ideal Lift Engineer Candidate:

  • Currently working as a Lift Service Engineer, Lift Repair Engineer, or Lift Installation Engineer with 2+ years’ industry experience.
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above (or equivalent) in a lift engineering discipline.
  • Lives within a commutable distance of Southampton.
  • Holds a clean UK Driving Licence.
