- Hours: Full-time (site-based)
Marmon Lift Recruitment is working with a well-established mechanical installation company seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter / Welder for a 9-month contract based in Kidderminster.
Pipe Fitter / Welder Responsibilities:
- Carry out pipe fitting and MMA welding within plant rooms.
- Install, assemble and maintain pipework and mechanical systems.
- Complete MMA welding to a high standard.
- Work from technical drawings and specifications.
- Support mechanical installation projects within plant rooms.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Follow all relevant site health and safety procedures.
The Ideal Pipe Fitter / Welder:
- Proven pipe fitting and MMA welding experience - ESSENTIAL.
- Experience working within plant rooms and on mechanical installations - ESSENTIAL.
- Holds a valid CSCS Card - ESSENTIAL.
- Holds a full UK driving licence - ESSENTIAL.
- Takes pride in producing work to a high standard - ESSENTIAL.
- Is reliable, professional and able to work independently and as part of a team - ESSENTIAL.
- Has a strong understanding of health and safety on site - ESSENTIAL.
- Is available for a 9-month contract in Kidderminster - ESSENTIAL.
- Qualifications such as SSSTS, First Aid at Work, G3 Unvented Hot Water, PASMA and IPAF - DESIRABLE.
