We are currently recruiting for an experienced Duct Fitter to join a project in Peterborough on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled ductwork professional with experience installing ventilation and ductwork systems within commercial, industrial or construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installing and fitting ductwork and ventilation systems in line with drawings and project specifications.
  • Reading and working from technical drawings and installation plans.
  • Measuring, cutting and assembling ductwork accurately.
  • Installing associated brackets, supports and fittings.
  • Working alongside other trades and site teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
  • Completing work to a high standard and in accordance with site health and safety requirements.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Duct Fitter / Ductwork Fitter.
  • Proven experience installing ductwork and ventilation systems.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a site team.
  • Valid Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
  • Relevant site qualifications/cards where required.
